Ok, guys. I need to talk to you about something very important. I got a job. This job is for kids and adults, but kids prefer it because they can't get better jobs than this. Are you a kid? Have you ever wondered how you can make money and not with chores? Whether it's for your parents or for you, I have the perfect job and guess what. You'll never have to leave the couch. There is a website called Cashcrate and before you stop reading because you think that no one can make money online, think again. This isn't a scam and I'll show you why. Cashcrate gets investors that want to find out what people think of their product. So, they go to Cashcrate and ask them to put their survey on the Cashcrate website and offer to give Cashcrate, let's say $5. So then, Cashcrate puts it on the website and when you complete it they give you, let's say $1. So that way everyone is happy. You can also do different types of offers to get money. Anyway, every month you have to get a total of $20. If you get, let's say $21 at the end of the month, they will send you a check for $21. If you get less than $20, they will send you your money next month, when you pass the $20 mark. I suggest that you do this under your mom's or dad's name because if they send a check under your name, you won't be able to get the money from the bank. Make sure you ask your mom and dad to do this before taking this job. There is much more, but if you are interested in finding out more about the website, sign up. They show you exactly the best ways to make money on Cashcrate when you sign up. If you don't believe me check online. Search up videos where they talk about Cashcrate and show you their checks. That's what I did anyway. Ok, when you are ready to join click the link at the bottom of this post to sign up and get a complimentary $1 to start you off.

Who am I?
I am a nerd. I focus on school, have good grades, and correct people when they make mistakes. It's part of who I am and I am proud of it.
I am a basketball player. I love the game and I love being an athlete. Ball is life.
I am a rebel in my own personal way. I rebel against the odds of me losing my voice, of kids losing their voice and even to my parents if I have to.
So, who am I?
I am all of them. They're all me and I wouldn't change any of them or the world. Not now, not ever.

HALLOWEEN!!!
Halloween is coming up and I am so excited. I got my costume yesterday. Sadly, this year I'm not going to any Halloween parties, but at least I'm still going trick or treating. I can't wait to get candy because my mom got a new job. Ok, I understand that what I just said didn't make any sense, but let me explain. When my mom worked at her old job, they had this thing where you give candy to the kids in the hospital that can't go trick-or-treating. Now, I did feel good that I was helping those kids out, but I had hundreds of pieces of candy and my mom only left me 10. This year will be different.
Can you guess what I am?
I am a bad girl from the 60s. Cool huh?

Check out my short story for school and make sure to comment opinions below. A shout out to my friends, Ani and Matthew.
Magic Gone Wrong!!!
Did one of my best friends just disappear into thin air? This was the one question that crossed my mind on that cold and dogged, December day. It was as if I was dreaming, but I wasn’t. This was real. Just one day before all of this happened it was just a normal day at the middle school………….
I walk down the crowded hall to get to lunch ,but then I stop. My big ,brown, bright eyes glint when I see the poster hanging on the wall. I run my hands through my long, brown hair as I wondering what my act should be. I take one slow step forward and suddenly ,there’s a smirk on my face. Then, I start running away from the lockers and towards the cafeteria.
When I get to the cafeteria, I place my lunchbox on the table and look at Ani and Matthew across from me. “Talent show! The middle school’s having a talent show!” I yell out. I was as happy as a puppy that was just about to get its favorite treats.
Ani sighs “ So what? We don’t have any talents.” I know Ani is bluffing (like always) because she knows that she’s hilariously funny.
I unwrap my ham sandwich and Matthew looks at me as if he's disappointed. " I don't understand how could you do that to a poor animal and not feel bad or anything," Matthew states as he takes his glasses off to clean them. He takes out a small rag and starts wiping them. Then, Matthew starts putting his glasses on ,as they riffle through his brown hair.
At this point, I decide it's time to tell them my plan. I stand up ,slam my hands on the table with pride, and say " So, I decided on our act. I am going to be a magician, but I want Ani to be my assistant and Matthew, you could be the volunteer."
Matthew was very receptive to what I was saying, but Ani started to mock me. " That's stupid," Ani says languidly. I get upset and cross my hands hoping for them to see how bad I want this.
“Katerina, I don't know if I want to..." I stop Matthew there. I murmur a soft and slow "Please." I wait for an answer.
Ani looks at me and says " Fine, Katerina. I can seem that you want this really bad. So, I'll do it if Matthew will.” This meant that we wouldn't be entering in the talent show. Matthew is one of the shyest people that I know. I was hoping that if Ani joined, he would feel bad because he's the one stopping us from doing the act ,but know he'll never do it.
" I'll do it," Matthew chants proudly. This catches Ani and me by surprise and nobody speaks for a while.
Finally, I say "That's great! So, when we're doing our act we have to go quickly because we only have a minute to perform. Ani, we'll put Matthew in a box and say that we're going to make him disappear. Then all that Matthew will do is open the back of the box and get out. So, when we open the box he'll be behind it where no one can see him. Then, we'll say that we're going to make him reappear and Matthew will step back into the box and when we open it he will be in there.” I can see that Ani is getting very excited because she's hopping around like a bunny.
We hear the bell ring and I decide that I should let Matthew and Ani leave, so they’re not late to any classes.
"Okay, bye guys," Matthew yells as he leaves the cafeteria. I wave goodbye and skip away with excitement that my friends agreed to help me because I knew that there was no way that I would be able to do any of this alone. They support me every day.
A day has passed, there is no more planning and we're up in 10 minutes. Ani's holding the box ready to push it on stage when a teacher tells us that we're up. We run onto the stage and I say " Hello, I am Katerina, this is my assistant Ani, and today we will be making my friend Matthew disappear!" The crowd goes wild as if they were monkeys.
Matthew runs to get inside the box and I shout out “ I will know make him disappear.” Ani closes him in. I scream “ Alla cazam.” Then, I open the box and Matthew isn't there. The crowd goes insane like the auditorium is a mental hospital.
Ani closes the box again, and giving Matthew his cue I say " Now, I will make Matthew reappear."
I tap the box three times and the say " Abra Cadabra." Ani opens the box and everybody gasps. My face turns red like a tomato and turmoil fills the crowded auditorium. Matthew isn't there, he isn't anywhere. Did one of my best friends just disappear into thin air?
Five years have passed and I'm graduating high school next year. Ani and I are still very good friends ,but we never talk about what happened to Matthew or why it happened. Anyway, Ani and I are ready to go to the mall when my mom says " I'm sorry girls, but Katerina forgot to do her chores and she has to clean the attic because it's a mess."
Ani and I run upstairs and open the attic door. I start working and Ani sits down. " You know, this would go a lot faster if you helped me," I explain to her. Ani acts as if she just ran a marathon. Yet, she did nothing all day. I pick up a broom and start sweeping.
" Fine!!!" Ani says with attitude. She stands up and accidentally knocks down a curtain. Tears run down my face like a waterfall as I stare at the box that took away my best friend.
Ani ruffles through her short, brown hair remembering the moment her friend disappeared. As I'm swimming in my tears, Ani says "Let's use it."At this point, I'm thinking that Ani has completely lost her mind. Has she forgotten that this box took Matthew?
"I don't even want to look at that thing," I explain to Ani. I put the broom down and go to try to hang the curtain back up, but Ani throws it away.
" Don't you want to find out if it's really magic?" Ani asks ( trying to manipulate me ). My curiosity gets the best of me and Ani knew that it would. I’m always curious about everything.
"Fine, but nobody's going inside. We can throw one of my old dolls in there , but be careful. I can't lose another friend." I say. What would happen to me if Ani and Matthew were both gone? I would be a total outcast and never talk to anyone because of my sadness
.
Ani throws one of my old American Girl dolls into the box and closes it as I say "I will make it disappear."
“Alla cazam,” I shout. Ani opens the box and the doll is gone. We both gasp. Ani closes the box again, as I close my eyes. I knew it was a dream, it had to be, but it wasn't.
I open my eyes and say "Now, I will make it reappear."I am almost sure that I will never see that doll again, but I want to see what’ll happen next. I mean, will what happened to Matthew five years ago happen again to this doll?
I tap the box and say " Abra Cadabra." Ani slowly walks to the box. The room was quiet except for the clock. All I hear is tick-tock-tick-tock-tick-tock when Ani opens the box.
I start to cry a river and surprisingly, Ani does too. Matthew walks out of the box, all grown up like us and says " Katerina! Ani! Is that really you?" Matthew asks with hope.
"Matthew?" Ani and I scream with excitement. My best friend is back! Five years have passed since the last time I saw him. Suddenly, even Matthew starts to tear up.
“Where were you all this time?” Ani asked Matthew. I fear that I am dreaming again. How could this be real?
“I don’t know or remember where I was, but it wasn’t here,” Matthew says as he takes off his foggy glasses. He takes out that small rag and starts to wipe his glasses until there wasn’t any fog.
“I don’t care about that,” I say and then I smile and so does Ani. The guilt that I had for the last years is finally gone. Everything is back to normal.
So, it may have taken 5 years, but we made Matthew reappear. Sure, we didn’t make a scientific discovery or even plan for any of the to happen, but we don’t care. We’re just happy that Matthew’s back.
